Markaz Unani Medical College & Hospital

Markazu Ssaquafathi Ssunniyya has proposed Markaz Unani Medical College & Hospital in 2010 with an objective to provide professional health care education in Unani System of Medicine to the general public. It is a Non-Aided College with an intake capacity of 60 students. Markaz Unani Medical College & Hospital has already received Letter of Intent (LoI) from AYUSH and awaiting for Letter of Permission (LoP) to commence admissions for the 1st Professional BUMS in the academic year 2015-16 for 60 students. It is yet to be approved by AYUSH, Govt of India and Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi, recognized by the Government of Kerala and Kerala University of Health Science, Thrissur. The College is situated at Puthuppadi, Kozhikode, Kerala. The road National Highway 766 is on the facade of the hospital which connects Bangalore, Chennai and Thiruvanthapuram via Kozhikode. Markaz Unani Medical College & Hospital is 40 km away from Kozhikode Railway station and 60 km away from Calicut International Airport.
